How to make Classic Sugar Cookies
01 In a large Bowl, beat confectioners' sugar and butter until it's smooth (just like buttercream frosting!).
02 Then stir in the egg and vanilla - yum! Combine the flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar, and mix into the batter until everything is nicely blended. Cover the Bowl and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
03 Preheat the oven to 375°F and divide the dough in half. Roll out the dough to about ⅛ inch thick on a floured surface, then cut out your cookies with cookie cutters.
04 Sprinkle with sugar and place the cookies onto greased Baking Sheets. Pop them in the oven and bake for 7-8 minutes until they're delicately golden - and enjoy!
