How to make Simple Garlic Shrimp
01 Heat olive oil in a heavy Skillet over high heat until it just begins to smoke & place shrimp in an even layer on the bottom of the pan.
02 Cook for 1 minute without stirring, then season with salt & cook, stirring, until shrimp begin to turn pink - about 1 minute.
03 Stir in garlic & red pepper flakes, then add lemon juice, caper brine, 1 piece butter & ½ of the parsley.
04 Cook until butter has melted (about 1 minute), then reduce heat to low & stir in the remaining 3 pieces butter.
05 Cook & stir until the butter has melted, the sauce is thick & the shrimp are pink & opaque - 2 to 3 minutes.
06 Remove shrimp with a Slotted Spoon & transfer to a Bowl, continuing to cook the butter sauce, adding water 1 Teaspoon at a time if too thick. Season with salt & serve the shrimp topped with the pan sauce & remaining parsley - yum!
